Introduction

Students read and try to understand the message of the book Nightingale by H. Ch. Andresen. Then, they watched the animated movie (comparing it with the original stroy). They were divided in teams composed of geographers, biologists, storytellers and draftsmen, their goal being to realize interdisciplinary projects.

Students also searched on the Internet information about Nightingale, the bird, about China.

In class, they work in groups to solve different tasks related to the content of the book.

Process

Starting from the content of the book, students have to carry out various tasks

The teacher divides students into 4 groups and assigns the following tasks:

1.    Group A: Storytellers: They briefly told the story, insisting especially on the message, which is appreciating the natural things and to protect the birds.

2.    Group B: Draftsmen: They illustrated fragments of the lecture using Quiver app.

3.    Group C: Geographers: They searched and noted data about China, its location, language, the capital, tourist spots.

4.    Group D: Biologists: They selected data about nightingales (habitat, looking, way of feeding)

The students, experts in the mentioned fields, got into their intial teams and realized posters including the found informations.

The teacher provided the required resources, guiding the students in the selection and presentation of the information.

In the end, the ‘kahoot’ test evaluated the way in which the student understood and memorized the story.
