Preparatory activity. Homereading. Each student has read 5 folk tales. “Vägev vähk ja ahne naine”(The Mighty Crayfish and the Greedy Woman) and 4 tales at their own choice.

1.Students identify archaic words, the words which are current only within a context and are not used nowadays, they create a kahoot.

2.The teacher points out the idiomatic expressions in the text, then follows the class discussion; students interpret the idiomatic expressions

with the help of the teacher and in cooperation with classmates students.

3.Instructions how to write the news(how to ask questions, linguistic performance, how to write news title,headline)

4.Students are divided into groups, students compare all 5 folk tales, identify characteristic features and fill in the table.

5.Class discussion on personality characteristics of the characters; students write the script of dramatization; terminology ((remark, line)

6.Drama presentations, acting out stories.Students watch and record each other’s drama presentations.
