Introduction

The book "The Widow and the Parrot" by Virginia Woolf is a compulsory book for the 5th grade students. 

By the end of the whole unit, with the contribution of different subjects, pupils shoud be able to:

. interpret the text according to the literary genre;

. think critically,  autonomously and creatively, with competence in collaborative work and with the ability to communicate;

. develop multiple litteracies that allow it to analyze and critically question reallity, evaluate and select information, formulate hypotheses and make informed decisions:

. develop communication on different supports and different languages.

Process

. Brief presentation of the book

. Analysis of the cover and back cover of the book

.Formation of groups

.Distribution of tasks - students are given a paper with QR codes where the tasks are registed ( aiming the exploitation of diffent aspects of the book;

. Group work.
