Students read the story at home. Different aspects will then be discussed in class, such as environmental awareness, individual responsibilty and other topics.
1. Using Google Maps students find the places referred to in the story. They work in 3 groups. A group finds the island of Anglesey in Wales; another Dublin, in Ireland and another one Leeds in England. They also find some information about these places to share with their mates.
2. Then teacher shows students a video on Anglesey Sea Zoo, the place where part of the story takes place. At the end students be able to talk about different sea animals they hear about in the video and they read about in the story.
3.In groups of 3, students are invited to make a popplet on the topic "endangered seas". They present their popplets to the class.
4. Teacher makes a kahoot on the story and students make the test.
5. Finally students use the Story Jumper tool to give a different ending to the story.
